成兔一般是一個兔子一個籠子，這樣管理起來會比較方便，而且長毛兔的體型比普通的兔子要大很多，所以也能讓它們有充足的空間進(jìn)行自由活動。但幼兔則需要在養(yǎng)殖的過程中進(jìn)行分籠管理，并注意母兔和公兔要分開飼養(yǎng)。只需要喂養(yǎng)三次，分別是早中晚各一次。白天主要是以草料為主，而晚上則以精料為主。飼養(yǎng)中需要注意每天都要按時喂水。
