1.品系不同的長毛兔種，兔毛的產值和質量差異很大。現在，我國養殖的各系長毛兔中，以德系兔產毛量更高，兔毛細、絨，粗毛含量低；法系兔產毛量中等，粗毛率高；英系和中系兔則產毛量較低，兔毛細、絨，粗毛率低。但近年來我國培養的一些當地品系，其兔毛產值和質量均有顯著進步。
