1、兔瘟 又稱兔病毒性出血癥，是由兔瘟病毒感染惹起的一種急性傳染病，對3月齡以上的青年和成年家兔危害很大，乳兔普通不發病。常在初春爆發盛行，一旦發作，迅速涉及全群，死亡率在95%以上。更急性型病兔只見忽然倒地，尖叫抽筋而死。少數病兔體溫降低41℃以上，肉體萎靡，食欲減退，呼吸短促，四肢呈游泳狀，有的發作驚厥，鼻中流出泡沫性血液，多在12-36小時內抽搐而死。該病目前尚無藥物醫治。關鍵在于接種兔瘟疫苗停止預防，1-2月齡兔肌注1毫升，成年兔肌注2毫升兔瘟疫苗，即可無效預防該病發作。一旦有兔發病，立刻隔離察看，并對全群停止“緊急預防接種兔瘟疫苗”，也能收到較好效果。

2、兔巴氏桿菌病 是由多殺性巴氏桿菌惹起的急性熱性敗血性傳染病。次要損害2-6月齡家兔，尤以春季多發。發病后如不及時控制，死亡嚴重。急性型病兔，表現忽然發病，體溫降低41℃以上，呼吸短促，打噴嚏，流鼻涕，有時下痢，死亡前體溫下降，全身發抖，四肢抽搐，多在12-18小時內死亡。慢性型病兔，表現爲體溫降低，呼吸困難，收回如拉風箱似的響聲，流濃鼻涕，打噴嚏和用前爪抓鼻，食欲減退，病兔多因消瘦、衰竭死亡，病程1—2周。此病只需預防接種兔巴氏桿菌苗，就能無效防治。發病后，可按每只兔用鏈霉素0.50克加40萬單位青霉素肌注，每天2次，延續5天，效果較好。也可用10%磺胺嘧啶2毫升肌注，還可按每只兔用土霉素O.25克，拌飼料中喂，每天2次，均有明顯效果。
